four incredible ways to add magic to your wedding

You've decided to hire a magician for your wedding, and you have some idea of what you want: a magician to come in, break the ice and supply entertainment to everyone on your special day.

But there can be more to it than that. There are some amusing and creative ways to use a magician at your wedding to bring in the wow factor and get the most for your money.

. Have magic as a surprise

.Communicate with your photographers

.Have a special showing for the head table

.Arrange video to be taken

Have magic as a surprise.

If you're looking for a magician because your partner is big into magic, why not keep it as a surprise? Don't tell your partner and book the magician for the day. You can even arrange with the magician to do a special piece of magic just for you and your partner when the magician arrives, delighting and surprising them before then going around performing on all your other guests and having that joy radiant across the entire room, true magic is one of the most joyous things people can experience, and you get to be the one to bring it to your partner as a surprise.

Communicate with your photographers.

I won't drill this point too hard as I've already talked about it at lengths elsewhere on my website. But always speak to your photographers about the fact you'll have a magician at your wedding. You can give both the magician and the photographer each other's details. In that case, they can work together to capture the special moments shared between guests. to create memorable photographs and memories that you can look back on.

Have a special showing for the head table.

You can talk to the magician about putting on a special piece for the whole head table, taking roughly 20 mins at the end of the meal; this makes for some great photos and brings everyone together for one big moment of celebration and joy; this magic will be different to any of the other magic shown throughout the day and will be something everyone close to you and on the head table will experience together.

Arrange for video to be taken.

The last thing I want to say here is a service I offer to all my clients: to collect videos of the magician performing for you to look back on for years to come. I offer this at no extra price to anyone. Instead, I ask permission to use the photos on my website and social media. This makes it a fair trade. The bride and groom get to see everyone experiencing the magic I performed, and I get to use that to show other clients what I can do. Some other magicians might also offer this, so it is worth asking!
